For founder Theo van Diepen, performance was never about numbers alone. It was about balance, control and how every element behaves under pressure. A mindset shaped by years in high-performance engineering and motorbike technology.
That mindset became the foundation of Lowlander Boats.
When Theo van Diepen entered the boating world, something felt off. Boats looked impressive but rarely made sense as a whole. Instead of following the market, he asked one question:

The layout is optimised for weight distribution and centre-of-gravity balance. Seating modules are structurally integrated into the hull, storage is recessed to maintain clean deck lines, and helm positioning is designed for standing or seated high-speed operation. Electrical and plumbing systems are modular for reliability and serviceability.

Polyester allows us to deliver structural strength, precise shaping, and a flawless finish. It gives us full control over performance, durability, and long-term reliability.
Technical
We use high-quality marine-grade polyester resins combined with engineered laminate schedules. This ensures predictable stiffness, impact resistance, and dimensional stability. Polyester also allows consistent replication of complex hull geometry, which is critical for stepped hull accuracy and repeatable high-speed performance.
What is the delivery timeline for a Lowlander Speedster?
Each Lowlander Speedster is built to order. Depending on specification, engine choice and production planning, the typical delivery timeline ranges from 4 to 8 months. This ensures every boat meets our standards in finish, performance, and detail.
How does Lowlander ensure consistent build quality and performance?
Primary
Quality is engineered, not inspected afterwards. Before entering production, the Lowlander Speedster was developed and validated over 5 years. Every boat is built using controlled processes, premium components, and strict quality checks, ensuring the same performance, finish, and reliability every time.
Technical
The Lowlander Speedster platform is the result of more than five years of development, including extensive CFD simulations, structural analysis, and iterative design refinement. The prototype has undergone over 300 hours of on-water testing across different conditions to validate hull behaviour, balance, and performance of all components.
Each production boat follows defined lamination schedules, controlled curing processes and documented assembly steps. Systems are tested individually, followed by full functional verification prior to delivery.
